The head of state announced this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
“A report on the state of our energy sector and the top priorities in our communication with partners. First Deputy Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal provided an update on the state of Ukraine’s energy system and the daily efforts of Ukrainian energy workers to address the consequences of Russian attacks. “I thank all industry specialists for their truly professional and dedicated work,” the President noted.
According to him, efforts to restore electricity supply to Ukrainian families following shelling continue daily. Particular challenges exist in cities and villages in regions near the front lines and along the border with Russia.
Zelensky noted that the necessary equipment reserves have already been established.
“We have also identified tasks for working with Ukraine’s partners in the near future: what political, financial, and purely technical agreements are needed now, in August, as well as in September, before the start of the heating season. We are counting on the support of specific countries. For security reasons, we are not disclosing the details at this time,” the head of state noted.

According to him, Shmyhal also reported on the strategic prospects for the development of Ukraine’s nuclear industry and the priorities for related work in Europe. Key social projects prepared for launch by the Ministry of Energy this fall were also discussed.
