According to Ukrinform, Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Head Ivan Fedorov reported the attack on Telegram.

"As a result of the Russian strike on the regional center, five people have been injured," Fedorov said.

Six explosions were heard across the city. Earlier, Ukraine's Air Force had warned of glide bomb launches from the temporarily occupied part of the Zaporizhzhia region.

Fedorov later reported that the strikes hit a residential building and an industrial area, with people trapped under the rubble.

"The enemy struck a multi-story apartment building. People remain trapped beneath the debris," he wrote.

Kherson, seven injured

As reported by Ukrinform, Russian forces launched 913 attacks on 52 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region over the previous day. Two people were killed and seven others injured in Russian attacks on the city of Zaporizhzhia and the surrounding district.
