Auckland man accused of murdering parents and attempting to murder brother named
A 41-year-old man accused of murdering two people and attempting to a murder a third on Auckland's North Shore last month can now be named as Marc Govinden.
Govinden appeared at the High Court in Auckland on Wednesday morning where his name suppression lapsed.
He is accused of murdering his parents at their Glenfield home and then attempting to murder his brother in Birkdale.
He is set to go on trial for three weeks starting from the second of August next year.
