CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro — Rescue and evacuation operations were undertaken from Tuesday night to early Wednesday in the town of Santa Cruz in Occidental Mindoro as heavy rains triggered flooding and damaged a road dike. As of 12:30 a.m., responders assisted residents affected by intense rainfall and flooding in Barangays Mulawin and Alacaak .
