Better-than-expected annual results from Fletcher Building and Ebos Group pushed the New Zealand sharemarket to its second successive gain as the reporting season heats up.

The S&P/NZX 50 Index closed at 13,929.67, up 63.49 points or 0.46% after a steady day’s trading. The index has gained 1.5% in two days.
