Real Madrid manager, Jose Mourinho has hailed Kylian Mbappe’s commitment and desire ahead of their first season together.
Mbappe was due to return for pre-season on August 14 after playing at the 2026 World Cup.
Mourinho has now revealed that the France captain reported two days earlier than scheduled.
Mbappe went on to play in the friendly match against Schalke 04 and opened the scoring against the German club.
“After the World Cup, Mbappe could have arrived on August 14.
“But he came on the 12th because he wanted to be ready to play against Schalke.
“I like that. He trains hard, with the same commitment and desire I want to see,” Mourinho told Chiringuito.
