Queen Camilla reveals King’s defiant words to her after shock cancer diagnosis

Queen Camilla has shared the defiant words King Charles said to her after revealing his shock cancer diagnosis.

In a video shared to mark the 30th anniversary of Maggie’s cancer charity, Camilla spoke for the first time about the moment her husband discovered he had the disease.

She explained that the King chose to focus on his work following the diagnosis, as a means of dealing with the situation.

“Nothing stopped him. He just said ‘This is my way. I’m going to cope with it’,” she said.

She also spoke about how difficult it was to keep her husband’s diagnosis a secret, before the news was made public. She said she "almost said something", yet determined that the timing was not right.
