Flour
Bakery$
This venue is one of Good Food’s 100 Essential Sydney Cafes and Bakeries of 2026.
Flour is tucked away on a quiet suburban street, but you’ll have no problem finding it – just follow the long procession of cars. This sunbathed cafe-bakery makes excellent breads, sausage rolls and sandwiches, but most people come for the pastry cabinet.
It’s a butter-laden dreamscape of lemon meringue doughnuts, Iced VoVo-inspired finger buns and bruleed custard tarts, plus regular seasonal specials. When the crowds abate, the communal table is a comfortable place to enjoy a specialty coffee, with front row seats to the glass-walled kitchen.
Good to know: Flour closes at 2pm, so you’ll have to hustle.
