The sibling to Melbourne morning institution Florian, this cosy cafe is fuelled by produce from nearby South Melbourne market, which makes its way into seasonal plates and vibrant salads. Space is tight: fewer than 20 seats are tucked into sunlit corners, and service is primed for high-speed takeaway. Juniper’s cult-favourite, crisp-skinned chicken sandwich, shares counter space with daily baked goods, year-round staples such as punchy mushroom congee, and foamy Greek-inspired frappes.
