1. What is your company in 2–5 words?
Boutique investment advisory & deal structuring.
2. Why is now the time for your company to exist?
Capital flows between Africa, the Gulf, and Europe are accelerating, but the intermediary layer — trusted advisors who can structure deals, vet counterparties, and move quietly between HNW/UHNW circles across these regions — hasn't kept pace. Family offices and growth-stage enterprises need someone who understands Nairobi, Dubai, and London simultaneously, not a firm that's strong in one market and translating the rest. That gap is widening as African real estate, critical minerals, and modular construction sectors draw more cross-border interest, and as more capital seeks structured, discreet entry points rather than public deal flow.
3. What do you love about your team, and why are you the ones to solve this problem?
I am a solopreneur at the moment; most of the time I source labour.
4. If you weren’t building your startup, what would you be doing?
Likely still working at the intersection of capital and Africa — either inside a family office or PE firm doing the same origination and structuring work I do now, just without ownership of the relationships or the upside.
5. At the moment, how do you measure success? What are your metrics?
For now its 100 %
6. In a few sentences, what do you offer to whom?
Versa Luxe is a boutique investment advisory and deal structuring firm serving HNW/UHNW individuals, family offices, and growth-stage enterprises across Africa, the Gulf, and Europe. We help clients raise capital, structure cross-border transactions, and access vetted strategic partners — spanning investment advisory, market entry, strategic partnerships, and luxury asset & real estate advisory. Our sister brand, Versa Luxe Journeys, extends this into B2B luxury travel for family offices and private banks.
7. What’s most exciting about your traction to date?
Live, active mandates with real momentum: multi-channel capital raise outreach for ISM Africa Group has produced positive engagement from strategic players like Çalık and RSI; a real estate JV pitch is underway in Accra with a strong-fit developer identified; and recent acceptance into the GAIA Africa private members' network signals growing recognition within the HNW ecosystem itself.
8. Where do you think your growth will be next year?
Establish my business footprint in other countries.
9. Tell us about your first paying customer and revenue expectations over the next year.
Our first paying customer was an HNWI African individual looking to expand his business into East Africa. We're projecting $100,000 USD in revenue over the next year.
10. What’s your biggest threat?
Trust and credibility risk in a space where fraud is common — you've already had to navigate a fraudulent off-market acquisition pitch and flagged fraud risk in gold trading intermediation. The core threat is reputational: one bad-faith counterparty slipping through could damage relationships with the HNW/family office clients whose business depends entirely on discretion and trust.
