A woman and her infant son were found dead at Alur in Hassan district of Karnataka on August 19.

The police suspect that the woman ended her life after killing her son. The deceased have been identified as Anushree, 27, and her son, Aryan.

Anushree had married Srinivas, a native of Singapura in Alur taluk, about five years ago. The couple had been living in Bengaluru. They had shifted to Alur two months ago.

Alur police have registered a case and begun an investigation.
