Resident Evil Requiem saw a great discount during this year's Prime Day sale event when physical versions hit $56. However, in a nice little surprise between sale events, its PS5 copy is currently on sale for less than that at Amazon and Best Buy. Both retailers have it discounted to $53.99 right now, which marks a new low price for it from the former, according to price tracking website camelcamelcamel.
Unfortunately, this offer only applies to the PS5 copy of the game. But if that's exactly what you were hoping to get, it's a solid deal to jump on that saves you $16 compared to paying full price. It's also worth noting that the Best Buy copy is sold by a third party, antonline, but they have a glowing 4.06 star rating with 807 ratings to back them up.
If you're a Resident Evil fan, or are just curious about this new release, Requiem is well worth picking up to play through. It balances survival horror and action as you step into the shoes of Grace and Leon to experience a terrifying new tale.
IGN's Tristan Ogilvie put it best in his review: "Like the result of an experiment conducted in an underground Umbrella Corporation lab, Resident Evil Requiem successfully splices two separate strains of survival horror together into the one highly infectious new mutation."
If you're hoping to pick up Requiem for PC instead, you're actually in luck: Fanatical's Summer Sale is still going on right now and features the game for $57.39, so you can grab it for your Steam library for a little less.
And if you're looking for even more video game deals outside of Requiem, it's worth having a look through Best Buy's 60th Anniversary Sale. This is live through Sunday, August 23, so there's still plenty of time to stock up on the deals that catch your eye.
