Ridge School, Kurnool, is gearing up to host the CBSE South Zone-I Archery Championship 2026 scheduled to be held from August 23 to 25.
As part of the preparations, the official logo of the championship was formally unveiled at the school. The logo launch marks the commencement of the final phase of preparations for the three-day sporting event. The logo was unveiled in the presence of Ridge School CEO Gopinath Guduri, Co-CEO Sowmya Gopinath, Dean (Student Affairs and General Administration) P.K. Rajendran, and school principal Rajkamal Mathews, along with members of the organising team.
The championship is being hosted by Ridge School, Kurnool, under the aegis of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The specially designed logo reflects the spirit, precision, focus and competitive excellence associated with archery, while prominently featuring the identity of the championship and its host institution.
The championship is expected to witness participation from over 650 schools and more than 2,000 young archers from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. The event is set to bring together some of the finest young archers from the CBSE South Zone-I region on a common platform.
