Deadly monsoon floods kill at least 40 in India

At least 40 people have died and up to 80 remain missing after heavy monsoon rains triggered severe flooding in northeast India. More than 650,000 people have been affected, with rescue teams evacuating people across 11 flood-hit districts in Assam state.
