There was a revealing moment at yesterday’s Building Nations summit when the political panel had to address the question of Auckland’s second harbour crossing.

Te Pae Christchurch Convention Centre was stacked with engineers, contractors, advisers and council insiders who really didn’t want to hear any more bland political rhetoric about
