Indian Bank mobilised credit proposals worth ₹2,080 crore at its Mega Retail, Agri & MSME Credit Campaign held on August 21, of which ₹1,125 crore was sanctioned and ₹575 crore disbursed.

The campaign, organised by the bank’s Field General Manager’s Office (FGMO), Chennai, was aimed at expanding access to institutional credit and supporting growth in the retail, agriculture and MSME (micro, small and medium enterprises) segments, in line with the government’s vision of Viksit Bharat.

Indian Bank MD and CEO Binod Kumar and CGM–Retail & MSME Sujay Mallik participated in the campaign. Kumar handed over sanction letters to 46 beneficiaries, covering a total credit exposure of ₹207 crore across the retail, agriculture and MSME segments.

The campaign was led by Padmavathy Srikant, Field General Manager, FGMO Chennai, with participation from teams across the Chennai North, Chennai South, Poonamallee, Kancheepuram, Puducherry, Vellore, Tiruvannamalai and Cuddalore zones.
