HBO Max has unveiled the trailer for the third season of The Pitt. The makers have also revealed the first look from the series.

The Noah Wyle-led medical drama is set to premiere its third season in January 2027. The trailer gives a glimpse into the high-pressure world of Pittsburgh’s frontline healthcare workers.

The third season follows Dr. Michael “Robby” Robinavitch (Wyle), as he navigates the personal and professional pressures of life inside the hospital. Patrick Ball as Dr. Langdon, Katherine LaNasa as Dana Evans, Fiona Dourif as Dr. McKay, Taylor Dearden as Dr. King, Isa Briones as Dr. Santos, and Gerran Howell as Dr. Whitaker return to the series.

Shabana Azeez will return as Javadi, alongside Ayesha Harris as Dr. Ellis, Sepideh Moafi as Dr. Al-Hashimi, and Shawn Hatosy as Dr. Abbot.

The Pitt Season 3 takes place on November 12, 2026, placing the story immediately after Veterans Day and just weeks ahead of Thanksgiving. The series aims for a grounded portrayal of the realities faced by medical professionals working in a modern Pittsburgh hospital.

The series also stars Stephen Chang, Barry Clifton, Chris Diamantopoulos, Lawrence Kao, Brent Sexton, JB Tadena, and Hannah Ware. Their roles have not been fully revealed yet.

According to Wyle, the new chapter will explore doctors experiencing healthcare from the perspective of patients. He also indicated that Robby’s decision to pursue therapy will begin showing results, although his progress remains delicate and comes with its own challenges.
