Ukrinform reports this, citing Taras Panasenko, co-founder of the retail chain, who wrote about the attack on Facebook.
“Today, Russian forces attacked Aurora’s distribution center. After the first strike, the enemy launched follow-up attacks to inflict maximum casualties while emergency services were working at the scene,” Panasenko wrote.
According to him, the strikes destroyed warehouses and damaged State Emergency Service rescue and fire engines. At the same time, thanks to strict adherence to safety protocols during both attacks, no casualties were reported.

As reported, Russian strikes on August 20 damaged a distribution center operated by the Fora retail chain, as well as a warehouse storing goods for the Varus supermarket chain in the Kyiv region. A distribution warehouse belonging to the Faini Liody ice cream company, which supplied Kyiv and 12 other Ukrainian cities, was also destroyed in the capital that day.
