GROZNY, August 22. /TASS/. Russia’s oldest citizen, 120-year-old Yakha Khashagova from Chechnya, sought medical assistance after injuring her wrist during a fall, local doctor Lida Akhmadova has told reporters.

"The patient’s health condition is currently satisfactory. She was examined by doctors," she said. "She is staying at home with her relatives. Her condition is stable and not life-threatening."

Russia’s oldest resident, who was born in 1905, resides in Chechnya’s administrative center of Grozny. She has 20 grandchildren and 48 grand-grandchildren.
