One dead after fatal collision with 2000s rock band tour bus

One person was killed in a multi-vehicle crash involving the rock band Buckcherry's tour bus on Interstate 26 near Spartanburg, South Carolina.

All band members and touring crew members were unharmed in the early Friday morning accident.

Authorities confirmed the victim was not associated with the band, but rather a driver who exited his vehicle on the highway and was struck by another car.

Buckcherry expressed their deepest condolences to the victim's family in a statement posted to social media.

The band's scheduled concert in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, proceeded as planned on Saturday during their Roar Like Thunder tour.
