According to Ukrinform, the Ministry of Defense reported this on Facebook following Khmara's meeting with a US delegation.

The meeting was attended by U.S. Ambassador to NATO Matthew Whitaker, U.S. Chargé d’Affaires in Ukraine Sandra Oudkirk, as well as Lieutenant General Curtis Buzzard, commander of NATO's Security Assistance and Training for Ukraine (NSATU) initiative and the Security Assistance Group–Ukraine (SAG-U).

"The critical need remains unchanged – air defense. I called for the maximum acceleration of deliveries of PAC-3 and PAC-2 GEM-T interceptor missiles to counter Russian ballistic missiles. The rapid delivery of these missiles saves Ukrainian lives, protects our cities, and preserves our defense industry," Khmara said.

The participants also discussed launching joint production and localization of Patriot missiles as part of the agreements reached between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and US President Donald Trump.

"Another important area is mutually beneficial cooperation in the drone sector. Ukraine is ready to share with the United States its unique experience of modern technological warfare," Khmara said.

The sides also discussed the situation on the battlefield. According to Khmara, partners noted the strengthening of Ukraine's positions on the front line.

"We are doing everything possible to ensure that various types of unmanned systems, ground robotic platforms, and network-centric operations give us an advantage over the Russian military," the Defense Ministry chief said.

The Ukrainian side briefed U.S. partners on the battlefield situation and Ukraine's steps aimed at forcing Russia toward a just peace.

Khmara also introduced the American delegation to Ukraine's new military leadership team – Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Mykhailo Drapatyi and Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Ihor Skybiuk.

"We have strong synergy with Commander-in-Chief Drapatyi and a shared vision of the war: technological superiority, asymmetric solutions, and greater capabilities to destroy the enemy," Khmara said.

Khmara thanked the United States for its support of Ukraine, its efforts to mobilize partners, and assistance with supplying air defense missiles under the PURL initiative.

"We count on continued strong support from the United States," he said.

As reported by Ukrinform, following a meeting with Drapatyi, Khmara said that Ukraine would continue exerting strike and technological pressure on Russia using all available means.
