The doctors told The Hindu that everything in the camp has been set up through donations. Including the medicines and even the tent itself.

“There are people here who had flown in from Milan. I have flown in from Chennai. He has flown in from Kerala. People have come here from the UK, Australia, Finland. We are here to show that we are here when it matters for our country,” says Dr F, 27 years old, from Chennai.

“The whole point of this organized, peaceful protest is, first accountability. Second, why is the modi government hell bent on privatizing everything,” Dr. S., who had worked in the Lakhimpur Kheri farm protests in 2021.

Soon they were back to work. The healing continued.
