Israeli settlers have set fire to Al-Rahma Mosque in Qusra town in the occupied West Bank, Al Jazeera reported after verifying videos of the fire consuming the mosque.

The Palestinian Information Centre, citing local sources, said the mosque had been set ablaze by settlers.

The arson comes as Israeli forces arrested dozens of Palestinians in the occupied West Bank during a campaign launched after four Palestinians were killed while fending off a settler and Israeli military raid in the village of Tal.

Two Israeli soldiers were also shot dead in the incident.
