According to Ukrinform, the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported this on Telegram.
“Under the procedural guidance of the Oleshky District Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into the commission of a war crime that resulted in the death of a person (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine),” the statement reads.
According to the investigation, on July 26, 2026, at approximately 9:30 a.m., Russian troops carried out an artillery strike on Stanislav. As a result of the attack, a 67-year-old resident who was on the street at the time of the shelling was killed.

As reported by Ukrinform, on July 25, two people were killed, and 24 others were wounded in the Kherson region as a result of Russian aggression; houses, a church, a gas station, stores, and gas pipelines were destroyed.
