According to Ukrinform, the information was reported by the National Guard of Ukraine's 4th Rapid Reaction Brigade Rubizh on Facebook.

"In the Rubizh Brigade's area of responsibility in the Pokrovsk sector, the enemy continues preparations to intensify offensive operations. The invaders are actively conducting aerial reconnaissance and attempting to clear minefields along routes to facilitate the advance of assault groups using ATVs and motorcycles. The use of this equipment is likely to become one of the enemy's primary methods for attempting to breach our defenses," the statement said.

The brigade noted that despite constant assault attempts, Russian forces had failed to achieve their objectives. Rubizh Brigade troops continue to detect and eliminate enemy units before they can reach Ukrainian positions.

The invaders' main objective remains an advance toward Dobropillia.

According to the brigade, Russian forces are concentrating their efforts on this sector but have so far been unable to carry out their plans.

Earlier this week, Rubizh Brigade personnel took part in repelling a large-scale Russian mechanized assault, which was successfully thwarted by the National Guard's 1st Azov Corps together with adjacent units.

During the battle, the brigade's troops destroyed one armored combat vehicle, an MTU-72 armored bridge-layer, and other Russian military equipment.

As reported by Ukrinform, 258 combat engagements between Ukraine's Defense Forces and Russian troops were recorded along the front line over the past day, with the heaviest fighting taking place in the Pokrovsk sector.
