Cops cordon CDO public school due to student’s shooting threat

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY — This city’s police force deployed two SWAT units to the Bulua National High School on Monday due to a threat made by one of its students on social media.

The school also called off classes Monday after the student posted on his Facebook page last night calling out local police and “armies” to guard the school because “he is going to shoot everyone today.”

“Shoutout to all of you there, Bulua National High School… get your army ready there because I am one of those who will [motions to shoot a gun],” the student said in Cebuano.

The Cagayan de Oro City Police Office (COCPO) has yet to release a statement as of this posting./coa
