Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Ivan Fedorov announced this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"As a result of the enemy attack on Zaporizhzhia, there is significant destruction. Preliminary reports indicate that a person may be trapped under the rubble," Fedorov said.

He later reported that a Russian drone had damaged an apartment in a multi-story residential building. A 53-year-old woman and a 52-year-old man were injured in the strike.

In a subsequent update, Fedorov confirmed one fatality.

"Unfortunately, one person was killed as a result of the enemy attack on Zaporizhzhia. A Russian guided aerial bomb destroyed a private house in the regional center, killing a 67-year-old man. More people may still be trapped beneath the rubble," he said.
