What you need to know about Barack Obama’s UK tour

Barack Obama is scheduled to tour the UK this autumn, appearing in Belfast, Glasgow, and Manchester to discuss "what comes next for America".

The 44th US president will speak at The O2 in Belfast on 13 October, Glasgow’s Ovo Hydro on 14 October, and Manchester’s Co-op Live on 15 October.

These events follow previous shows in London and Dublin in 2025, and an interview last September where he criticised claims made by his successor regarding drugs and autism.

Since leaving office in 2017, Obama has been involved in various projects, including a deal with Netflix for documentaries and series, and has won an Emmy and Grammy Awards for his work.

Tickets for the UK shows will be available from Friday 31 July at 10am via Myticket.co.uk and SeatUnique.com, with 100 tickets reserved for charitable organisations.
