According to Ukrinform, the Zaporizhzhiaoblenergo press service reported this on Telegram.

Over the weekend alone, the enemy launched approximately 2,000 strikes on the region’s civilian infrastructure. As a result of shelling by Russian occupation forces, 18 instances of damage were recorded in the regional power grid.

“Most of the damage involves damage to and breaks in overhead power lines, as well as utility poles. In Zaporizhzhia specifically, the most serious incident was the damage to a complex transformer substation; as a result of a strike by guided aerial bombs, the equipment was destroyed and rendered unusable. We decided to restore power to consumers from another source. To do this, we laid an additional overhead line connecting them to another complex transformer substation. Within a few hours, more than 400 households had their power restored,” commented Andrii Stasevskyi, head of Zaporizhzhiaoblenergo.

The situation in Kushuhum, Balabyne, and Bilenke remains difficult. Power workers are operating under constant attack. Nearly 8,000 more customers have been reconnected in the Novomykolaivka and Orikhiv districts.

The regional power company reports that the overall result of the repair works is that 50,800 households now have electricity again.

Earlier reports indicated that the occupiers attacked 45 settlements over the past 24 hours.
