Three women, including one believed to be pregnant, were stabbed in the street near Porte de Clichy in Paris, France on Monday morning at around 11.30am.

They were 'treated by emergency services and transported to the hospital,' the police said. One of the victims is in critical condition.

The suspect, a 31-year-old man believed to have mental health issues, was arrested at the scene following a police operation.

He was armed with two knives, local media reports.
