Bruno Mars has released a surprisingly small number of albums for an artist who has enjoyed so much success and helped define an entire generation of pop music. The singer-songwriter has issued only four solo collections, as well as one project as half of Silk Sonic, his super duo with Anderson .Paak.

Each of those releases has produced several hits, including at least one song that became a generation-defining anthem and a chart-topper. Mars surges across the rankings in the United Kingdom this week with nearly all of his full-lengths. Four projects return to at least two tallies, and in some cases, more.

Bruno Mars Returns to the Vinyl Chart’s Top 10

The Romantic, Mars’s most recent album and his first solo collection in nearly a decade, mounts his most impressive comeback. The set returns to three rankings this frame, including immediately breaking back into the top 10 on one roster.

The highly-anticipated set reenters the Official Vinyl Albums chart at No. 5, giving Mars his only top 10 return of the week. The Romantic previously climbed as high as No. 2. The collection also reappears at Nos. 25 and 34 on the Official Albums and Official Albums Streaming charts, respectively.

Silk Sonic Returns to Three Charts With Its One Album

An Evening with Silk Sonic, Mars’s collaborative album with .Paak, also finds its way back to three rankings simultaneously. The full-length reenters the Official Album Downloads, Official Albums Sales and Official Physical Albums charts, where it can be found once more at Nos. 64, 85 and 87, respectively. In the past, the project, which produced the chart-topping “Leave the Door Open,” has failed to reach No. 1, though it has spent time inside the top 10.

The Romantic Appears on Six U.K. Albums Charts

In addition to its three reappearing favorites, The Romantic rises on another trio of lists. The album sits just beneath the top 10 on all of them after managing especially large gains on two rosters. Mars’s latest solo collection rockets, in some instances, 80 spaces or more and approaches the highest tier on the Official Albums Sales, Official Physical Albums and Official Album Downloads charts.

Silk Sonic Returns to the R&B Tally’s Top 10

An Evening with Silk Sonic rises on one tally in addition to those it finds its way back to. The album pushes from No. 16 to No. 5 on the Official Hip-Hop and R&B Albums chart, returning to the top 10. The collaborative set has now spent 76 weeks on the genre-specific list, and it has already run the show in the past.

Bruno Mars Sends His Debut Set Back to Two Charts

The superstar’s debut album, Doo-Wops & Hooligans, returns to two purchase-focused rankings in the U.K., but only barely. The project reenters the Official Albums Sales chart at No. 98 and the Official Physical Albums tally in last place, at No. 100.

The full-length also rises on two of the most competitive albums rankings in the country. Doo-Wops & Hooligans jumps from No. 50 to No. 33 on the Official Albums chart, breaking back into the top 40. It performs even better on the Official Albums Streaming rundown, where it advances 20 spaces to No. 28. The collection, which introduced Mars to the world, has spent more than 400 weeks on both charts.

24K Magic Reappears Twice in the U.K.

24K Magic returns to a pair of rankings this week. The album reenters the Official Album Downloads chart at No. 77 after previously topping out at No. 2. The Grammy winner for Album of the Year narrowly manages to find space on the streaming-only roster, where it’s back at No. 98 on the 100-space register.

Only One Album by Bruno Mars Is Missing

Unorthodox Jukebox is the only one of Mars’s solo studio albums that does not appear on any U.K. charts this week. Four albums represent a massive week for Mars, and his success extends beyond full-length projects.

Seven singles from multiple eras appear across a variety of tallies, including streaming winners, bestsellers and returning favorites. His biggest current smash remains “Die with a Smile,” his Grammy-winning collaboration with Lady Gaga, which is nearing its second anniversary.
