According to Ukrinform, Ukraine's State Emergency Service (SES) reported the attack on Facebook.

The SES said that during the night, Russian aircraft dropped three guided aerial bombs on a private residential area, hitting two houses with people inside.

Emergency rescue operations continued for approximately 17 hours at the scene.

"Unfortunately, rescuers recovered the bodies of three victims from under the rubble of the destroyed homes," the SES said.

Rescue workers, assisted by municipal utility crews, cleared 25 tonnes of debris and extinguished fires covering a total area of 180 square meters. The operation has now been completed.

As Ukrinform previously reported, Russia also attacked a Ukrzaliznytsia repair crew in the Donetsk region with a jet-powered Shahed drone, killing a track maintenance worker and injuring two other railway employees.
