“I’m just proud that he’s chasing his dreams in the US studying and that he’s becoming the person he wants to become. He’s getting more comfortable with himself and he’s getting to know himself even more. And I’m just so proud that he has the courage to share that even to the world. And you know how the world is cruel, the world is full of judgment. And he wasn’t scared,” Fleming said.

Looking back on their friendship, the Filipino-British actress said it did not cross her mind that Graham was gay as she has always been soft-spoken.

“It’s really just who he is as a person, but I will say, not very tough or emasculate or super strong. You know what I mean? James wasn’t like that, he was a very soft person in his heart. He was a really good friend,” she said.

At present, the two no longer have any communication, though they have a common group of friends and still follow each other’s social media pages.

Fleming and Graham were together is some shows on GMA, among them, “Royal Blood” in 2023, and “Widows’ War” in 2024. They also used to do some TikTok trends, and were always photographed together.
