The Hindu Group’s flagship campaign, ‘The Hindu Written by Journalists’, bagged the Grand Prix recognition in the ‘Digital Creatives’ or ‘Content-Digital Videos (Short Form)’ category at the MADDYS 2026, the 44th Madras Advertising Club Awards, alongside two Gold awards, one each for ‘Media Innovation (OOH and Ambient Media)’ and ‘Media-Integrated Campaign’ categories.

The Hindu Group also secured a Gold in ‘Print Craft-Copywriting for ‘Unseen Labour’’, a compelling Labour Day communication. It also won two Bronze awards in ‘Print Craft-Copywriting for ‘Power of Attorney’’, a World Wildlife Day communication advocating for wildlife conservation, and in ‘Cause Advertising & Public Service–Print Campaign for ‘Stub the Habit’’, a World No Tobacco Day campaign that encouraged people to quit smoking through innovation storytelling and creative execution.
In addition to its seven MADDYS wins, The Hindu Group was also recognised at the Digital MADDYS, where it was named ‘Client of the Year’.
Recognising ideas that demonstrate simplicity, originality and high-impact storytelling, MADDYS 2026 attracted entries from over 110 agencies and clients across India and abroad.
