Ivan Fedorov, Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, announced the measure during a briefing, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.

"Since Friday, together with the National Police and the Patrol Police, we have begun issuing warnings about the possible locations of incoming strikes. Using loudspeakers, law enforcement officers are informing residents in the areas that may be targeted. We will continue this practice and may even restrict traffic on streets where strikes are considered likely," Fedorov said.

He also announced that Zaporizhzhia has begun receiving reinforced concrete shelters purchased with funding from international donors. The city plans to install 100 of these shelters by the end of September.

As previously reported by Ukrinform, Zaporizhzhia's public transport vehicles will also be fitted with protective armored film to help mitigate the effects of drone attacks.
