According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine included this information in a Facebook post regarding the situation as of 8:00 a.m. on July 29.

The enemy carried out 87 airstrikes, dropping 298 guided bombs.

In addition, the Russians deployed 9,383 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,073 shelling attacks, including 58 using multiple launch rocket systems.

The Ukrainian Defense Forces’ Air Force, Missile Forces, and Artillery struck four areas where Russian troops were concentrated.

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, one combat engagement took place: the aggressor carried out three airstrikes, dropped five aerial bombs, and launched 66 artillery attacks, including one with MLRS.

In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, the enemy attacked the positions of our units 20 times near the settlements of Chaikivka, Kozacha Lopan, Izbytske, Anyshchyne, Ambarne, Zapadne, Khatne, and Kolodiazne, as well as in the areas surrounding the settlements of Starytsia and Lyman.

In the Kupiansk sector, the enemy carried out three attacks toward the settlements of Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi, Shyikivka, and near Petropavlivka.

In the Lyman sector, the enemy made 13 attempts to break through toward Drobysheve, Lyman, Ozerne, Stavky, and near Novoselivka, Novomykhailivka, and Hrekivka.

In the Sloviansk sector, Russian forces launched 19 assaults in the areas of Kryva Luka, Zakitne, Riznykivka, and toward Rai-Oleksandrivka and Pyskunivka.

In the Kramatorsk sector, Russian invaders carried out four attacks in the areas of Pryvillia, Nykyforivka, and toward Malynivka.

In the Kostiantynivka sector, the enemy carried out 31 attacks in the areas of Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, Ivanopillia, Rusyn Yar, and toward Stepanivka.

In the Pokrovsk sector, the Defense Forces repelled 37 assaults by the aggressor in the areas of Vasylivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novomykolaivka, Molodetske, Chernihivka, Novooleksandrivka, and toward Toretske, Novopavlivka, Kucheriv Yar, Vilne, Svitle, Shevchenko, Bilytske, Matiasheve, Novyi Donbas, and Novohryshyne.

In the Oleksandrivka sector, the enemy carried out one attack in the Voskresenka area.

In the Huliaipole sector, the invaders carried out 20 attacks toward Kosivtseve, Vozdvyzhivka, Rizdvianka, Staroukrainka, Tsvitkove, Charivne, Novoselivka, and in the Zaliznychne area.

In the Orikhiv sector, defenders repelled four enemy attempts to advance in the areas of Stepove, Shcherbaky, Plavni, and toward Pavlivka.

In the Prydniprovske sector, the enemy did not conduct any offensive operations.

In the Volyn and Polissia sectors, no signs of the enemy forming offensive groups were detected.

As reported by Ukrinform, the total combat losses of Russian troops since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, from February 24, 2022, to July 28, 2026, amount to approximately 1,443,450 personnel.
