According to Ukrinform, Zelensky made the remarks in an interview with Axios.

Zelensky said he asked President Trump to provide an emergency "winter package" of Patriot interceptors to help prevent Russian attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure.

He said Trump promised he would try to help, but also made clear it's difficult because of the need for interceptors in the war with Iran

Zelensky said Russia uses between 30 and 40 ballistic missiles during each major attack against Ukraine, and that Moscow carries out three to five such attacks every month.

The Ukrainian President added that Ukraine is ready to share any military technologies or expertise needed by the United States in order to obtain Patriot interceptors.

As reported by Ukrinform, Presidents Volodymyr Zelensky and Donald Trump discussed licenses for the production of interceptor missiles for Patriot air defense systems.
