PBA: San Miguel bounces back, makes easy work of Titan Ultra

MANILA, Philippines—San Miguel Beer returned to the win column in the 2026 PBA Governors’ Cup after routing Titan Ultra, 143-105, at Ninoy Aquino Stadium on Wednesday night.

The Beermen bounced back from a 110-96 loss to NLEX on Sunday, highlighted by Jerrick Ahanmisi’s 26 points and three assists to improve to 4-1 in Group A.

“I got a chance to talk to my teammates and they told me to be myself and keep shooting. They told me not to worry about the last game,” said Ahanmisi.

“I’m super comfortable with my teammates and coaches. Every single day, I’m trying to be better and improve myself.”

San Miguel led by just three at halftime, 61-58, before erupting in the third quarter to blow the game wide open.

The Beermen poured in 49 points in the third to take an insurmountable 110-81 lead entering the final period.

George King led San Miguel anew with 35 points and eight rebounds. Don Trollano and Marcio Lassiter also chipped in 22 and 13 points, respectively.

Joshua Munzon top-scored for the Giant Risers, who absorbed their fifth loss, with 25 points while Bryan Sajonia scored 19 points off the bench. Import Tirrell Brown turned in 15 points and seven rebounds in the defeat.
