TEL AVIV, July 29. /TASS/. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have accused the Lebanese Shia Islamist movement Hezbollah of violating the ceasefire agreement after its militants employed a drone carrying explosives to hit engineering equipment of the Israeli military in southern Lebanon, the army’s press service reported.

"A blatant violation of the ceasefire: Hezbollah employed a drone carrying explosives to strike engineering equipment of the Israel Defense Forces in the Ali al-Taher heights area [in southern Lebanon] within the Security Zone. There have been no injuries among Israeli soldiers reported," the army’s press service said in a statement.

The IDF emphasized that "this incident is a flagrant violation of the ceasefire agreement in Lebanon by Hezbollah." "Israeli soldiers are continuing their operations around the heights and will not allow terrorists in the area to advance or attack soldiers," the press service added.
