Watch: Norwegian teen hitman performs bizarre act during arrest over Iran-linked murder plot

A Norwegian teenage hitman has been found guilty of travelling to England to carry out a killing on behalf of an international crime gang backed by Iran.

Arrest footage shows footballer Johannes Kongsnes Natland, 19, raising his hands in the shape of a gun and pretending to fire at an officer after he was apprehended at Briar Court Hotel in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire on 19 March, 2025,

Natland had agreed to shoot an unknown target for €25,000 (£21,500) in March last year.

He was arrested two days after landing in the UK from his home in Stavanger.

In a search of his room, police seized a semi-automatic pistol, a revolver, 12 rounds of live ammunition, gloves, and £2,000 in cash.
