A 32-year-old woman in southeastern France had just given birth to a baby boy. The man she lived with, also 32, found 'what looked like human remains' at home and reported it to the hospital, which informed the prosecutor's office. A forensic doctor said the remains likely belonged to five newborns, with further autopsies to be carried out.
