LUCENA CITY – A woman fell overboard from a domestic passenger vessel bound for Caticlan Port in Malay, Aklan, but was safely rescued by the ship’s crew in the waters off Batangas City early Thursday. In a report, the Batangas station of the Philippine Coast Guard was notified at around 3 a.m. by the Vessel Traffic Management System (VTMS) about the accident approximately 4.5 nautical miles east by north of Isla Verde.
