MANILA, Philippines — The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) arrested seven individuals who allegedly posed as property owners and lawyers to swindle victims out of millions of pesos, leading to the dismantling of a “sangla-kolekta” (pawn-and-collect) syndicate in Taguig City.
