According to Ukrinform, the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Zhytomyr region reported this on Telegram.

“Six people were injured in the Zhytomyr region as a result of the Russian attack, three of whom are children. One of the adults was rescued by State Emergency Service specialists,” the post states.

It is noted that as of now, six people have sought medical attention, including three children and three adults. Preliminary assessments indicate that the children are experiencing an acute stress reaction.

Rescue workers are addressing the aftermath of the attack. State Emergency Service bomb disposal experts are surveying the area.

State Emergency Service specialists and volunteers from the Ukrainian Red Cross Society rapid response team are setting up aid stations at the scene. All relevant services are deployed.

According to the Korosten City Council, a meeting of the Commission on Technological and Environmental Safety and Emergency Situations was held in the city, during which priority measures were identified to address the aftermath of the shelling and coordinate the work of all services.

The city council reports that local businesses are actively joining the relief effort, providing the necessary materials for emergency repair and restoration work.

As previously reported, during a Russian missile and drone attack, one of the agricultural enterprises in the Korosten district of the Zhytomyr region was struck. It was reported that two adults and three children were injured.
