TEHRAN, July 30. /TASS/. Two student dormitories in the city of Ahvaz in the southwest of Iran were damaged by US military strikes, YJC news agency quoted Governor of the Khuzestan province Mohammad Reza Mollazadeh as saying.

"Two student dormitory complexes were damaged as a result of the recent US attacks. Some students were relocated, and some received assistance," he said.

On Thursday night, the United States launched new strikes on the southern regions of the Islamic Republic.
