MeCure Industries Plc has appointed Anderline Dukor as its Chief Executive Officer, following the company’s decision to replace its co-CEO leadership model with a traditional single CEO structure.

The company also announced the appointment of Arjun Udani as Executive Director, Operations & Finance of the company.

The appointments, alongside a broader reorganisation of the company’s executive leadership, was disclosed in a regulatory filing on Thursday.

According to the pharmaceutical company, the leadership model change will take effect from 1 August.

The board said the decision followed a review of the company’s strategic priorities, operational requirements and governance framework.

“Following a comprehensive review of the Company’s strategic priorities, operational requirements and governance framework, the Board concluded that a unified leadership structure will further enhance strategic execution, accelerate decision-making, strengthen accountability and position the Company to deliver its next phase of sustainable growth,” the company said.

Under the new structure, Mrs Dukor will oversee the company’s strategic direction, operational performance and executive management.

The company said she would lead the implementation of MeCure’s long-term growth strategy, strengthen operational excellence, deepen stakeholder engagement and drive sustainable value creation for shareholders.

In his new role, Mr Udani will oversee the company’s manufacturing operations, finance, supply chain and other core operational functions.

He will work closely with the CEO to execute the company’s strategic priorities, improve operational efficiency and reinforce financial discipline across the business.

Commenting on the restructuring, the board expressed confidence in the new leadership team, extolling its stewardship during the period the company operated under a dual leadership structure.

“The Board believes that the transition to a single CEO model reflects the Company’s evolving strategic priorities, governance maturity and long-term ambitions,” the company said.

The company expressed its confidence that Ms Dukor and Mr Udani’s appointment will give MeCure Industries’ complementary leadership, industry expertise and proven track record.

The company said the appointments will further strengthen MeCure’s competitive position, accelerate sustainable growth and enhance long-term shareholder value.
