FNG: Weaving the future together

The strongest partnerships are often the least noticeable because they quietly improve everyday life. The same can be said of the Philippine-Japanese cooperation. For many Filipinos, it is reflected in the roads they travel, the industries that employ them—and increasingly, the communities they call home.

Federal Land NRE Global Inc. (FNG), a powerhouse joint venture between the Philippines’ Federal Land Inc. and Japan’s Nomura Real Estate Development Co. Ltd., is achieving that through landmark property developments blending Japanese ways with Filipino values.

The collaboration extends beyond capital investment and into FNG’s day-to-day operations. Japanese counterparts from Nomura Real Estate serve as management advisers throughout the development process, contributing to decisions on planning, architecture, engineering, construction, sales and marketing. Through it all, the company embraces the Japanese principle of kaizen, or continuous improvement, to foster a culture of efficiency, precision and constant refinement.

Partnership made tangible

The partnership becomes especially tangible at Riverpark, Federal Land’s emerging multi-use master-planned township that merges suburban charm and modern urban living. The expansive development in Cavite, south of Metro Manila, is a self-sustaining community designed with a wealth of conveniences and recreational opportunities. It supports the province’s pursuit of even greater progress while raising the standards of daily living.

There, FNG is developing several residential neighborhoods. Among them is Yume at Riverpark, which integrates Japanese technology and aesthetics into a nurturing residential environment. Rightly named after the Japanese term for “dream,” it creates a dream village harmonizing Japan’s sophistication and the Philippines’ warmth.

Another residential neighborhood is set to rise within Riverpark, guaranteeing more Japanese-inspired homes on our shores.

Beyond residential villages, Riverpark will include educational institutions, commercial establishments and logistics facilities. A recent addition is the UNIQLO Logistics Facility, the first of many Japanese brands setting up shop at Riverpark.

FNG is also building The Observatory in Mandaluyong, with panoramic views of the BGC skyline. It combines the strengths and qualities of both countries into a human-centric development, designed around overall well-being, shared experiences and everyday functionality.
