ITV morning chat show This Morning has announced its roster of presenters for the 2026 summer period.

With regular presenters Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard set to go on summer holiday, hosting duties will be split between a range of replacements, including Rylan Clark, Paddy McGuinness and Josie Gibson.

This Morning shared the news on social media, writing on Instagram: “Get your passports ready! From sofa to sun lounger, brighten up your mornings with our all-star lineup. This summer only on This Morning.”

Deeley and Shephard have fronted the programme together since March 2024.

The stand-in presenters were announced in pairs, with the broadcaster sharing that McGuinness would be paired with Gibson, Andi Peters would be partnered with Rochelle Humes, and Craig Doyle will appear alongside Angela Scanlon.

Meanwhile, Clark will be teamed with Gibson, Sian Welby with Joel Dommett. and Doyle again with Christine Lampard.

Clark – also known mononymously as Rylan – first appeared on This Morning in 2013, after rising to fame on The X Factor.

The 37-year-old presenter took an unofficial six-month absence from This Morning following a controversy over his remarks about immigration last year.

Appearing on the show back in August 2025, Clark said: “[The UK] is built on immigration – legal immigration. A lot of the nurses, the doctors that have saved my mum’s life, have come over here from other countries. They’re living a great life, they’re paying into this tax system, they’re helping this country thrive.

“I find it absolutely insane that all these people are risking their lives coming across the Channel. And when they get here, it does seem, and I think this is why a lot of Labour voters as well are saying there’s something wrong, it feels like, ‘Welcome, come on in.’ That’s the narrative we're being fed.”

Clark then added that there is “something wrong” with the way refugees are welcomed, claiming that they are given an “iPad” and a “games room” in a “four star hotel”.

“Here’s the iPad. Here’s the NHS in reception of your hotel. Here’s three meals a day. Here’s a games room in the hotel. Have a lovely time and welcome,” he said.

He continued: “How can it be that if I turn up at Heathrow Airport as a British citizen and I’ve left my passport in Spain, I’ve got to stand at that airport and won’t be let in. But if I arrive on a boat from Calais, I get taken to a four-star hotel?”

Clark’s remarks prompted over 700 complaints to Ofcom, with viewers pointing out that he had repeated false information about the UK’s immigration setup.

However, he later returned to This Morning during the Easter holidays.
