According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces said this in a Facebook update on the situation as of 08:00 on August 1.

Russian forces launched one missile strike using two missiles and carried out 75 airstrikes, dropping 226 guided aerial bombs.

In addition, the enemy deployed 10,172 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,295 attacks, including 30 using multiple launch rocket systems.

Ukrainian missile forces and artillery struck two UAV control posts, 15 areas where Russian troops were concentrated, one ammunition depot and another important target belonging to the Russian invaders.

On the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk axes, one combat clash was recorded. Russian forces carried out two airstrikes, dropping five aerial bombs, and launched 62 attacks, including two using MLRS.

On the Southern Slobozhanshchyna axis, Russian forces launched 17 attacks near Starytsia, Zapadne and Dvorichanske, as well as toward Lyman, Izbytske, Ustynivka, Kolodiazne, Radkivka and Khatnie.

On the Kupiansk axis, Russian forces conducted no offensive operations.

On the Lyman axis, Russian forces made ten attempts to break through Ukrainian defenses, attacking toward Lyman and Ozernе, as well as near Novoselivka and Zarichne.

On the Sloviansk axis, Russian forces launched 19 assaults near Zakitne, Kryva Luka and Riznykivka, as well as toward Pyskуnivka and Rai-Oleksandrivka.

On the Kramatorsk axis, Russian forces carried out three attacks near Minkivka and toward Tykhonivka.

On the Kostiantynivka axis, Russian forces launched 26 attacks near Kostiantynivka, Ivanopillia, Illinivka, Rusyn Yar and Sofiivka, as well as toward Novopavlivka and Dovha Balka.

On the Pokrovsk axis, Ukrainian forces repelled 37 assaults by Russian invaders near Dorozhnie, Udachne and Novooleksandrivka, as well as toward Toretske, Kucheriv Yar, Vilne, Nove Shakhove, Serhiivka, Bilytske, Shevchenko, Novopidhorodnie and Novopavlivka.

On the Oleksandrivka axis, Russian forces launched one attack toward Oleksandrohrad.

On the Huliaipole axis, Russian forces carried out 12 attacks toward Vozdvyzhivka, Kosivtseve, Tsvitkove, Staroukrainka and Novoselivka.

On the Orikhiv axis, Ukrainian defenders stopped four attempts by Russian forces to advance near Stepove and Mali Shcherbaky, as well as toward Pavlivka.

On the Dnipro River axis, Russian forces conducted no offensive operations.

No signs of Russian forces forming offensive groupings were detected on the Volyn and Polissia axes.
