Kim Go-eun leads 5th Blue Dragon Series Awards winners

Kim Go-eun earned the top prize at this year’s Blue Dragon Series Awards, while “The Legend of Kitchen Soldier” emerged as the Best Drama awardee.

The Korean actress received the Daesang (grand prize) for her performance in the romance series “You and Everything Else,” at the awarding ceremony in Incheon on Friday, July 31.

“I’ve never taken the opportunity to work on a project for granted. That’s why I’ve always tried to approach every role sincerely, desperately, and with a strong sense of responsibility,” she said in Korean during her acceptance speech, as per media outlet Allkpop.

“I want to continue discovering new sides of myself as an actress and remain someone who sparks curiosity. I hope I’ll continue to receive opportunities, and I’ll work even harder,” she added.

Also winning big at the event was the Park Ji-hoon starrer which earned a total of three awards.
